My dealer just called and said my 997 GT3 was put on the truck from PDI in Charleston yesterday.

Hopefully it will show up today or tommorrow in NE Ohio.

Probaly won't bring it home until next Saturday (weather permitting) but I will be at the dealer tomoorow or Monday to see it and take pictures.

What this "Gear lever leather trim" option? Does it replace the alcantara boot? Or is it simply the gear **** that's leather?

When I originally ordered the lear leather trim I thought it did replace the shift ****.

This is an option that is not well described and I now think it will replace the boot.

I will post pictures of the option when I see the car.

By the way PCNA is doing some things right: my car is being shipped by Interstate in an enclosed carrier with a lift gate because of the ground clearance issues.
