very short clip, and rather boring... though the car does touch 300 kmh on the speedo briefly.

wasn't that boring from the driver's seat though!

Btw, how strict is the police in your country (or is there no speed limit)?

there IS one other road that is straighter, smoother and far longer, where you could sustain speeds above 300kmh for a several seconds at a time. BUT it is a highly travelled road with many more uncontrollable variables compared to this elevated, limited access highway in the video.
the speed limit is actually 60mph/100kmh. but on at 6AM on a Sunday morning, the cops are still in bed.
and to be honest, they have grown accustomed to supercars stretching their legs like this very early on weekends, when there is no traffic around, and seem to look the other way. every once in a (rare) while, they'll nab you at the exit, but a $10 "fine" is usually all it will take to be on your way...

We need to see a vid like this with the RT12 as the main character.

and if the video WAS exciting due to avoiding much slower moving cars or weaving in and out of traffic, then it would be simply dangerous and needlessly more risky than such runs already are.
but i guess we do these straightline runs to verify manufacturer claims. yes, all in the name of research!
