GT2 w/ GT700 kit or 997 GT3?
Hey guys,
I have the opportunity to pick up a 997 GT3 w/PCCBs this Spring, but would have to sell my 2002 GT2. My GT2 has an Evo stage 4 package and 2004 wheels and CF.
Should I sell the GT2 and get a new 997 GT3 or should I spend the $20k upgrading to the GT700 and minor suspension tweeks?
I posted this on the 996tt/GT2 forum and wanted to get the opinion of the GT3 gang to see how you guys feel about dilemma.
The car is primarily used for aggressive street use with maybe 4 HPDEs a year.
Thanks
George

Just wondering what you thought, most people dont compare the GT2 to GT3 handling wise, meanwhile they are damn similar!
IF YOU SELL YOUR GT2 FOR ANYTHING ELSE BESIDES ANOTHER GT2 YOU WILL BE THE SADDEST MAN IN THE WORLD.
Dont do it. There is no Porsche other than the Carrera GT to replace that car with.

Have you thought about going from the 997GT3 to the 997GT2? That would be logical. But if you were going to skip the 997GT2 alltogether I'd stick with the 996GT2 and do that gt700 conv.
