RS roll bars
Roll Bar
It's a tough decision. The tequipment roll bar is not available yet from the dealers. I'm going through the same problem. Available choices that will fit are as follows from what I've learned: Das Sport , GMG, or the 996 tequipment bar. Personally, I'll probably go with the tequipment bar from the 996. The GMG Bar looks great and very substantial, just don't know how many installers have experience to get this bar installed. The Das Sport looks good also, installs on the rear strut brace, but from what I've heard, the carpeting in the GT3/RS may be glued down which creates some difficulty in lifting the carpet cleanly in that area.

Can you please tell us something about the process or what kind of modifications are needed to get the RS cage installed in US cars? Plates need to be welded? Drilling? What about carpet? Thank you very much in advance!
the RS bar will only work with the GT3 RS, other wise you are correct 993nut you need to put a plate in that will accept the bar, cut the carpet and do a few other things that i can quite recall right now.
