Nice! Now to buy or not to buy? that is the question... The GT3 and my M400 compete head to head and both cars are in the same category. Although our M400 will eat the GT3 alive on the street or on the track, with 500bhp and less than 2400lbs with a suberb chassis that is no wonder. I just don't have the space for both of them and then the tough factor of when and the time to drive each one.

frayed is infamous around these parts
The Noble is the obviously superior car. Except for the fit/finish, purchasing complexity, warranty, servicing, Ford motor, interior, resale, durability, ricer looks, hidden costs, parts availability.

Just pointing out the obvious. Speed is only part of the equation.

If the CS came in a stick, I'd have purchased one. I may have actually outlived the 360 in my garage.

OT...

You use bimmerforums, don't you?

OT... (on-topic and off-topic have the same acronym. how coincidental)

GT3.

Edmunds.com puts it best:

"Track-worthy, but not track-bound"

bavmotorist,

Yes, I am sometimes on bimmerforums (if you were speaking to me).

Did you suggest that you prefer the GT3 over the M400?

- Frayed, a few true points but the Noble is a raw, although fairly comfortable, sports car like the CS's.

- Marc997, congrats the 997 GT3 is a beautiful car and I'm sure a joy to drive! I have only driven the 911s and that was great in itself!

I was also contemplating on getting a Ford GT GULF Edition as a possible option.

It depends how you look at it.

If it were just about the vehicle differences and ended there, it [the noble] would be fabulous.

But as others have mentioned, the limited dealer network, scarcity of parts and relatively small corporate backings might scare me & others off
