GT3RS tires

Does anyone know if the GT3RS sport cup tires (oem) are available aftermarket or only by dealer? Are these tires different than the sport cups available prior to this car? Need new tires already. Also reccomendations on the best place to by a 2nd set of rs oem wheels?
Thanks

Tirerack has them. Make sure you're sitting down when you see the price

That is worth a read before you buy Pilot SCs. I didn't realize just how different the N-rated tires can be versus normal tires of the same brand. Just make sure to go all or none on the N-ratings.

N spec are available to anyone as long as Michelin does not put a dealer-only hold on them, which they reserve the right to do if quantity gets low. Right now inventory is good just about everywhere. Contact me if interested.

I could be all wet on(no pun intended) this but it looks like a good choice for track days would be to run the OE tires until they are worn out and replace them with the ROW cup type, and get an extra set of wheels and put PS2s on them as rain/street tires.

On another note; one of the PCA driving instructors told me that the PS Cups will last for maybe 5-6 track days. Anybody have any experience with this?

My bad, what I was trying to say was to run the OE tires till spent, and then get the non Porsche cup tires as a replacement.

From my conversations with Damon at TR, I understand that they only make the "decaffeinated" versions of the MPSC's in the 19 N1 sizes
