PCCB Delays

I was just notified by my dealer that Porsche is no longer accepting PCCB orders for 2007 and existing orders will be filled but might be delayed. Supposedly there is a supply issue.
I have a May build GT3 and now I'm waiting to see if I'm getting pushed back.

Yeah, this was posted on Rennlist earlier in the week. My TT is in production as we speak and I'm hoping I won't get delayed.

isn't the demand >> supply of carbon right now? i thought there was an international hold on carbon? didn't the lamborghinis run into similar problems with the LP640 or the Gallardo Nero?

Why are you always saying something positive. Would you say something some day to get somebody worked up? Why are you always so polite...get some people to dislike you from time to time. It's easy.

I understand the demand from the auto companies (mainly Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo., and now Aston Martin, Jaguar, etc.) is outstripping the manufacturers capacity.
I'm willing to wait but I'm not sure for how long.

Hey-

Tuuner's avatar is great. I was at that concert in New Haven, CT, sitting with my girlfriend (we were both 14 years old) when he feigned pulling out something unmentionable - the cops totally over-reacted because some girl from Southern Connecticut State College wouldn't go out on a date with him before the show. I got his autograph just before the concert - we smashed out the doors of the old New Haven coliseum that night. I wonder if his autograph is worth money, but I wouldn't sell it.

The book is good reading.

That is an awesome story. I read the biography when I was in College in the 80's. When my wife and I went to Paris to celebrate our 20th anniversary a couple years ago, we went to Jim Morrison's gravesite. It is the most visited grave in that place (which is hundreds of years old).

Tuuner is just not a sex, drugs and rock and roll type guy. He is an MBA with a beautiful school teacher wife. Conservative. He wasn't made in or for the 60's...
