I have a 2007 GT3 RS on order in white. Looking for a little help, the order guide does not list the option of ordering the car in white with the stripe package. However, I have seen pictures of cars in white with the stripes and listing of cars on order with the stripes. Any idea on the confusion? Thanks!

depends on ur production month but most likely u can not change the option anymore. Porsche released the above options in March so early spec cars didn't get the chance to add the decal option. u can order the kit from Porsche dealer then have it put on after. we've done it. job actually came out better than Porsche since i've seen some decals already lifting on brand new RS from factory.

 

I sit right next to the guy your placing the order with! HAHA I dont beleive it is a problem at all. What did he say?

this might be a dumb question. I just saw an Orange Rs without a sunroof on it. Did the Rs have an option to delete that? Also it had the non Ceramic brakes?? Which was weird

 

no sunroof on RS. ceramic is always an option except GT2 & CGT.

WOW! Many thanks for all of the quick responses. Also, thanks to the help direct from Porsche of Orlando. I have not tired to change the order as was not sure it was even possible. Now armed with the info that they are easy to install at the dealer it may make more sense to see the car without them and then decide. Tough decision as the other color cars look great with the stripes.

That is the first 997 GT3 RS I've seen with-out club sport pkg. not even a roll-bar !

However, your car looks very nice ... drive it in good health

 

Sigh...unfortunately, in the US, we don't get the RoW goodies because of certain "safety" regulations. <rolls eyes>
