How do you track the boat?

I just got my GT3 Vin# and the boat left the port in Germany on 6/6. I don't know the boats name but is there a way to track it based on the departure date?

Most dealers are lame for updating like that, once you've ordered the car, you're no longer priority I'm afraid. Seems they'd rather give a boxster test drive than help you track your TT. That actually happened to me, I exploded at the sales guy and gm.

Bruce,

my dealer gave me the ship name, and arrival date...it is usually very accurate...give it about a week after it hits port to arrive at your dealer.

Ask your dealer to save all of the shipping paperwork and tags that come on the car...nice for posterity sake....

Thanks guys. You'ld be surprised how fast a boat gets around the track with a couple of twin turbo GM 1692 Diesels.

Thanks for the suggestions and RufMD I'll ask for those papers, good idea.

I'm sure Google probably has a secrete application to find a boat...zoom in, see if the captain has shaved and zoom back out again!
