Bad experience with TPC racing/JRZ USA

Just a heads up regarding TPC racing/JRZ USA.

I purchased a set of sway bars for my 997 GT3 from TPC. When they arrived my mechanic tried to install them but they would not fit. After several conversations with TPC it was determined that they were for the 997 (non GT3). I told Tom at TPC that I was shipping them back but they refused them. He said all sales are final. I told him that he sold me bars for the wrong car and he said too bad.

I am shocked that a pro racing shop would conduct business this way. Be warned if you do business with them. I would not.

I have tried many times. My mechanic who knows him talked to him but this guy Tom is getting in the way. I can't get past Tom. Mike told my mechanic that the rear bar is for the 3.8l subframe and that it was never intended for a GT3. Maybe Mike is no longer the owner.

They actually over charged me too. Website says 1195.00 and they charged me 1595.00 When I brought it to Tom's attention I was told that is the new price.

That is unacceptable. I would take them to a small claims court immediately.

MC and I have already contacted them. But what a hassle that we should not have to go through!

sasportas has a spectacular aura aboutsasportas has a spectacular aura about
sway bars

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Just curious how you are running your existing sway bars. My set up isn't as advanced as yours, but I have new lower control arms, adjustable toe links, and solid motor mounts. I've softened the rear sway bar to full soft. I'm now wondering if I should put it to the middle in back. Also, what are you running for your front sway bar? I know that you've changed your springs so this probably factors in to the equation.

I am running 900/900 springs on JRZ's with a very agressive alignment, so my settings would not help you at all. I am putting on 997 Cup blade sway bars next week.
