You can call if you wish but I can tell you Tom is a Liar and they sell stuff that they have not tested or installed. I have spent hundreds of thousands on mods with many shops and this is the first time I have ever delt with some one like this.

I am glad that you have not had any problems but if you do it wont be easy.

Since I have known Mike and Tom for a long time, this is a really disappointing and bad situation. More though just recently, I have heard a lot of bad things happening with customers/suppliers dealing with them.

Garrett,

Contact Joe Stimola of SRP Engineering (516) 671-9715. He is the man as far as any JRZ product goes. Just google his name and you can read up on him. He would probably even take the bars you have and get you the right ones. He's a stand up guy and will go the extra mile to represent the brand and product. Tell him Ben from MSR Houston sent you.

Hope you can get this taken care of.

Thanks for the warning. Hope it works out for you. Even if it does work out I for one am never going to do business with them.

I've been dealing with TPC for several years now (alignments, dyno, oil changes, mods) and I have never had a problem. They have always provided me with great service with honest answers. I am sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with their service. I just called Tom and told him that you were unhappy and are seeking a resolution. Let's hope he makes it right.

Update -

I received 2 emails from Mike Levitas this morning. I believe that he was unaware of the situation because his employee Tom was running interference.

Mike has provided me with an RMA and has agreed to issue credit in full. I am not happy that I had to go through so much trouble to get it resolved and the labor cost to remove and reinstall the bars but in the end Mike has done what should have beed done in the begining.

If any of you contacted Mike, thanks for your help!

Here are the emails form Mike:

Spoke to Loren feel free to call me direct believe me you will not be blocked after speaking to Loren I more appreciate the situation but as well speak to Loren. I must insist you post the truth in dealing with me TPC after talking to Loren post TPC did rectify the situation and please post my email to you as well. I hope you will trust us in the future.

I am shocked at what played out!

Garrett, This is the first I know of your returning sway bars to us the last I spoke to your mechanic (Mike Fox good guy) he was installing them and was to call me with any further questions. We have sold sway bar sets to all the top pro teams in Grand Am over 80% of the GS Porsche field has our bars and shocks and base settings. All wins so far on Porsches in GS have been with us on the car regardless of team. We do more development and testing than any other. I am very upset that my staff is unable to help you with this. I am sure this must have been a miscommunication. Tom is very appeasing to customers and a real gentleman. Our policy is to only accept returns with the proper RA# that ways it will not be refused. Use the RA#16072ra for the return. Please feel free to call me at the workshop directly.
Regards,

Michael Levitas

What I really want to know is how are they going to stop this from happening in the future? What happened to the guy that refused your return? Why did it take these actions to get this resolved?

I think the damage is done and the only thing they can do is to accept the return to show good faith.

It is most important that we maintain solidarity in these matters. We are the extremists that spend 5-6 figures modifying car after car. We are the reason that these after-market companies exhist. There are plenty of them that have similar product lines. Any company that is listening, customer service is as important as performance. Outright fraud is not a good idea here. TPC, make this right and live to sell another day. All of us will be paying attention with many future cars to be modified. Wouldn't it be a shame to render yourself untouchable?

grussell,

Glad to hear they've rectified the situation. It really sucks when things like this happen.
