there's a drone at cruising speeds (<3krpm). it gets annoying when driving 100 freeway miles at cruising speeds. i'm putting the plug back on and will just unplug it on special occassions.

Will try it for a few days to see if I like it. I'll definitely wake up the neighbors at night.

I have had mine unplugged for 5 of the 7 months I have had the car. I have the GMG center section on it, and I will not go back to stock, nor plug it back in! Absolutely fabulous.

Thanks for all the advice guys...
The sharkwerks silencer is absolutely superb!
no droning, no added resonance, not exceedingly loud...
just a more aggressive...
the sound of the car now matches its looks... perfection accomplished.
this is now by far the best sounding car I have ever driven, including an F430 sypder
Lovin' it!

One last question... I blue taped both ends to avoid deris/grease/dust and rattle...
You think blue tape is ok in the engien compartment?
So glad you like it and thanks again!

PS Good call on the tape....

my car has had the pse installed by the dealer-the throatier sound is on unless switched off by the button-this appears to be the opposite of what some of are saying. do you have to push your pse button to get it to come on every time you start the car? I have the 3.6 so is the plug in the same place because I sure as hell can't find it where the pics show it unless it's buried under the air filter housing somewhere. any ideas?

can you guys tell me if this switch is connected to the emissions regulator? how does it not jack up the computer system in the car? i found mine at 11pm last night but i plugged it back and went to bed thinking of this. I'd love to disconnect it so i can have the sound on the way to the track today BUT i need some reassurance..what a wussy girl i am.
