Some New/More RS Photos, GT
I posted this on Rennlist where i spend some time also...figured i'd post here.
some new/more photos of the new black RS. and u can also see some of my other cars as well, courteousy of my new Nikon point and shoot digital SLR, very nice. i'm a lazy photograher and even this thing helps out.
if you're a 964 guy as well, there are some nice 964s there, and a sweet 993.

Yo Chris, how goes it? yeah, long time no speak. shoot me an email and lets chat. that 993TTBlack/Cash went to Mike in Calif i believe , who promplty took that 6k mile, pristine example of nostalgia from 1996 and modified that thing so it does mach 10 while humming a tune. good guy who keep sme updated all the time. nut jobs seeking speed. to each is one's own. you put our cash on the table, you get to roll dice, as they say.
did you end up finding anything? seems like the 993 market came in a good bit, which is not surprising, it got well ahead of iteself for a while. the good, low low mileage stuff is still solid, i think, but driveable stuff looks great these days.
if someone is looking fora premier 964 or 993 driver, there are good options out there on wicked fast, nice vehicles. garage queens will always be in high demand by smaller crowds with deeper pockets.
anyway, lets catch up. latr.

i really like the CarCapsules a lot. They take just about 90 seconds to zip up. like anything else, you get a process down; i roll the cover up, and then roll it back over the car. zip zip , turn on fan and done. i feed a 14foot electrical cable thru hole in bottom for the battery maintainer. the filter on the back ensure you dont get dust all over everything. and you get to "see" the car pretty good without having to take off the cover.
i like going into the warehouse as you can see all the cars pretty well, while they are protected. from a protection standpoint, i think they are the best. you can bump into them, and they are really pretty solid. not like those things your kids jump on at a carnival but along those lines. you would have push your full body SUPER hard to be able to hit that car. they say you can throw a hammer at it, and it wouldnt touch car. i might agree.
i have one in my garage at home. sometimes i use it, other times i dont. my kids are all over the place, and are clueless about the impact of their maybe hitting the driver i bring home. so unless i'm taking the car out the next day, i spend the 5 minutes covering it up. my garage at home is 1 of 3 bays, etc. so its not big and comfy like the warehouse, but pretty garage-tight. i dont have a big issue with it, but its not as nice as in the warehouse.
its not a bad thing to try for $300 . if no good, sell, recoup 200, write of the 100 and be gone.

In my myriad of searches I picked up an 04 TT Cab. Nice car with a few miles. Will probably sell in a month or two. Hamilton needs a roof over top.
I am desirous of a 997 GT3 and still a 993TT. Should have bought yours. What did you end up selling it for? PM me.
