Thumbs up SharkWerks GT3RS Project ZKERMIT with new shoes...

So we've got a few things going on with the car and the first thing is to get the weight down a bit so we'll be ridding the car of the factory seats (73 pounds each!) shortly. Another area we're saving weight is with the choice of wheels. We wanted to get rid of the 5mm spacers, save weight and look "somewhat" stock. Hence we went with HRE-C21s (more on the offset etc... later) _all_ black inside and out. Our buddy Marc over at HRE decided to get the outer-lip pinstriped green professionally (one of the gurus at West Coast Choppers no less) and you can see from the close-ups that it got done on the money. We may not keep it that way forever but it certainly shows just how customizable and workable HRE wheels are I'll get you the _exact_ weight savings tomorrow once we mount the wheels but suffice it to say that 5-6 pounds per corner seems very likely...

Now for the really good news, for those of you with GT3s or RS' that want to get 18 inch wheels for the track. HRE already has the specs dialed in for the C-21 to fit over PCCBs in an 18 inch size.

Alex,
Those wheels look so hot, I like it all black inside and out.
I just don't understand why the OEM GT3RS wheels are so heavy, and no GT3RS owner changing those wheels? On top of that I saw a lot of 997C2S & 997tt put those wheels on?

Its going to turn out to be the Hottest RS around, in addition to the substantial weigh savings.
