Can you TT an E-gear Gallardo?

Looked around Heffner's site and can't find any info? How would the E-Gear hold up with TT?

Thanks.

The first TTG ever made is an egear. It has over 15k miles on it and is holding up fine.

Hey, you're the guy from Car and Driver this month, aren't you? Excellent write up. I just got done reading that this morning. What a monster he built for you. Great last name BTW

You should try and make that drive down to Naples next Saturday.

Mine is an E-Gear as well and will be one with the 1000hp system in mid Feb. I don't expect any issues.

Yah, Jason said he had to make a bunch of changes to the system because of your car being a spider.

In our experience the only clutches we have done on the Lambo's are on the E-Gears. We have two customers with 6-Speeds that have not been in for a clutch service yet whom have higher mileage. I would imagine if you upped the power to that extent on an E-Gear it would not hold up as long as a manual but im sure its a blast to drive. Unless the individual doing the flashing changes the mapping for the clutch engagement so it engages harder which might sacrifice drive ability. I am very curious to see some long term results.......

On Egear cars, Heffner replaces the stock clutch, with the sintered clutch found on the 6speed manual car. It is a nice compromise... you get drivability and durability.

I have over 9k miles on my 6speed TTG.... with the original stock clutch! We tested the hell out of this car, at the strip and the C$D shootout. The sintered clutch is rock solid.
