Spotted in Brazil
I once saw a guy driving a Porsche Cayenne in Buenos Aires and the guy looked like he was edgy and nervous all the time.. Kind of like being in a tense standoff in Fallujah... Not for me... Thanks... I'll drive a Peugeot and blend over there...
^^ This is exactly what my latin american friend told me..He said i cant drive a nice car down there..It'll probably get jacked like in GTA..take you straight out of the car, kick you, then drive away with your car.
Not worth it.
So maybe they should just ship those up to me since i live in PA

If Brazil is not a safe place to drive a Lamborghini, how are the other dealerships such as BMW, MBZ, Porsche make revenue, moreover, keep their business alive?
I'm sure there are many people in Brazil driving luxury /exotic cars, and I'm sure half of them are dead, but they died while driving a Murcielago, and not a Hyundai.
All joking aside - if crime was really that bad in Brazil or anywhere in the world, every high-end dealership will be closed, not too forget jewelry shops and fine clothing stores will go away too.
IMO - you can be in America and still get car jack. However, in America more people get car jack driving a honda / toyota, vs. driving a Ferrari or Lamborghini.

You obviously haven't lived in LatAm...
People buy these cars and use them on tracks with other wealthy friends not to drive around the city...
You will never ever see a Lambo being driven around the city alone if you do, I can guarantee that there is a security detail around that person... Probably several armed guards in black Suburbans... Yeah that wasn't paparazzi following him around...
You are right, you can get carjacked in America... Over there, they don't care about your car, they care about what you are worth... They will kidnap your *** faster than you can say "Man on Fire"... And the ransom is not pretty either, they know who they get and it's typically millions or you're dead...
That's why kidnap insurance is a must if you are high net worth in LatAm...
Dude, you have never lived that way over here... Trust me on that one...

Mexico City is the same way. I had a meeting with a well known developer there last year, he drove a very unassuming older BMW 5 series. The car was armoured. We met for breakfast at the W in Polanco, where I was staying. He asked me to take my watch off and leave it in the hotel room safe. He was embarrased he had to ask me to do that.
