Which One To Buy? 17k '06 E-Gear G or 7k '04 6-Spd Gallardo? HELP!!

Hey guys. I have been wanting to pull the trigger on a Gallardo for awhile now, but with the prices on them dropping like a rock the past few months due to the economy and all the other bad crap that's been happening, I have been sitting on the sidelines watching the prices plummet. NOW However, I think I am ready to jump in, as winter is approaching and that should make it even better for me as far as pricing leverage goes. here is my question tho:

Should I buy a 2004 6-Spd G with 7k miles that is in excellent shape for roughly $109,000, OR should I buy a 2006 E-Gear G with 17k miles that is also in excellent shape for roughly $122,000? I would end up of buying a clear bonnet for the 04 which would run me an additional $10k painted & installed, and it would cost $1,000 to truck from the midwest to the west coast, where the 06 is already on the west coast (I live in Hawaii). The 06 already comes with an exhaust, whereas I would have to buy one for the 04, which would be another $3,000 or so.

I think I would rather have a 6-Spd, but an E-Gear is ok with me too, so the tranny is not much of an issue. both cars are silver with black leather. The '04 car has it's original clutch, so it will prolly have to be replaced soon. the '06 has 60% left on it's newer version clutch, which should last another 5k miles or so I think... (BTW, at what percent clutch life does the e-gear start to slip and need to be replaced?)

What do you guys think?

I am pretty confused and torn right now... A lower mileage older Gallardo or a higher mileage newer Gallardo

I was thinking about a Murcie, but that car is a little too much for Oahu, here in Hawaii. Too much car, too small of an island. If I lived in Vegas or LA, I would buy one. I will prolly keep the G for a year or so, then move on to a F430 or sumthin...

Wait for the perfect car, buyers market.

Find an 06 Silver/Black 6spd loaded with low miles. If you settle for these, your dream one will come up FS next month for $130K.

Take alook at this one

http://www.inventory.gpimports.com/d...o-2845755.html

It is at an authorized Lamborghini dealer and it comes with a certified pre-owned warranty. Call the Sales manager, I am sure he can work out a nice deal for you

I'm looking for a black, silver, or white G... Many of the sellers now are asking way too much for their cars, BUT many are starting to give in to the reality of the economy and real-world pricing situation for G's...

I have an egear - 2004 and have driven the current superleggera, merci and LP560. I would recommend keep the money in your pocket and get the 2004 Gallardo if its in VG condition. Hard to justify the $$ step up. I have had zero issues over 3+ years of G ownership.

I would be suprised if you would get a bigger hit out of a 2006 G or 2007 G for that matter. Just get a tubi exhaust and clear engine cover. Getting the color right to personal taste is v important. If I found a green egear for sale locally regardless of the year I would be a starter.
