FREE Tinted Murcielago Tail Lights, trade for your stock lights

I bought an 02 Murc w/ tinted (smoked?) tail lights. I prefer stock lights. Looking to do a direct swap with someone who wants tinted lights in return for their stock ones.

See them at the 26 sec mark here:

Thanks. I'm just not a fan of the blacked out look. Mine aren't as blacked out as some that I've seen (which are entirely blacked out), but definitely not stock.

Is there a way to remove the tinting I wonder, or will they just look like crap?

those look just like tint film used over the tail lights to give the smoked effect...im sure u can just use a razor and cut it off and clean it.

Where exactly would you make the cut? I'd like to try and remove it first, but don't really see how to access the screws. The Murc is not a user friendly DIY car!

Just be careful because it could also be painted on so I would double check to make sure it is film. I had my tail lights painted in the past with a transparent black paint that just gets layered on. Looks excellent but is not removable.

Did the paint look super smooth? I'm wondering if that's what I got. There doesn't seem to be an edge at all. The "chip" that I saw is about the size of a pen tip in one of the corners, and I couldn't lift it from there. I guess I'll have to wait until someone wants to trade!

Take the car to a custom car shop that deals with high-end car's...Im sure they will tell you if it is sprayed or just film. And if it is film im sure they can take it off for you. But if their sprayed you should end up trading with someone.

If it is just a tint film cut anywhere and just peel it off....it looks like a film from thr video. If no one wants to trade deffinately look into buying the newer LED tail lights...by the way congrats on the car! Black murci gets it doneee

They are barely even tinted, why go through the hassle? That is hardly a blacked out look. It actually mutes the huge orange section of the lights which looks like crap. BTW, congrats on a sick Murcie!

Haha, I actually like the orange. Breaks up the "all black" look which I think is overplayed.

LOL, then by all means switch 'um up! I always try and minimize the amount of colors on a car and make it flow a bit better. Enjoy the ride, she is a beauty.

If you could get the lights off I could remove the spray and make them fresh again.

Even if it is paint you can always sand it off and re clear the tail lights, they will look like did from the factory.
Sweet ride
