Finally dropped my second Gallardo off this past weekend for elective surgery over at Underground Racing, and I thought I would start a build thread since I didn't do one on my first car. I had originally planned to get them to start the build several weeks ago, but had a few things I wanted to do with it this summer first and delayed things until now. My previous TT Gallardo had Underground's first bolt-on system, and within 30 days of selling it I had major seller's remorse. My GTR helped distract me for a while, but eventually I realized I had to have another Underground TTG. And this time I went with the big boy setup. Well, relative to what I had--with Underground there are a lot of different levels of built and race setups, all the way up to Lambo Rocket Sled I think. So here's a pic to start things off--it seems strange for an empty engine bay to look so exciting, but it is if you know what's going in there! There are also some other goodies going on the car (wheels, diffuser, SL wing, LP570 nose, etc.), so I can't wait to get it back!

Nope, 6 speed. My previous one was a black E-gear.

 

what made you want to switch to the 6 speed?

Just thought I'd give it a try. I didn't dislike the E-gear, but having a couple of cars with DCT's (GTR & M3) at the same time I had the E-gear did make it seem low tech. The manual is definitely better for dealing with stop and go/barely moving situations.

 

I did sell it, but have had some thoughts about picking up another one. Nice cars, especially for the money.

I have not been to that C&C, but I know a couple of people who go. I'm actually up on the Eastern end of the state, so if you're thinking about a Ronnie who has a well known business is in Murfreesboro, that's not me--although I wish it was (assuming we're talking about the same person)!
