Old SCHOOL!

Well, after to much money and half a decade..ITS DONE!!!

Thanks to Steve at Driven Exotics - The Lamborghini Specialists for a great nut and bolt total frame of retoration..it is better then when it left the factory!

My 1976 Lp400 Periscopa..went down today to Cali, took it for it's final shake down run. Nothing like doing 120MPH plus south down the 101 in a TRUE Lamborghini, no seat belts, no air bags, no cats, no computers, just the pure joy of a 4 liter carb car winding up like it should and thin tires with NO WING rowing thorugh the gears!

Ready to take first place at any show...a few I-phone shots till I get it home for a proper photo shot.

Put her on a truck and she is on the way home to me in Seattle tonight.

I like the 80's model Countach but very nice restoration. No seat belt... no thanks. I like my looks way too much to faceplant it into a 30 degree slanted windshield.

Thanks...but no thanks..

Have had a few E-mails from around the world with offers on the car..

As much as I appreciate it, the high offers of $575,000.00 is just not worth selling what I consider my child now..I watched it to long to get to perfect..I think I need to watch it grow up and get old with me...

Sounds great but $575k won't do you much good if you're laying in a casket... I understand the need to keep it original though.

How did you come up on such a car? Was it that valued when you 1st bought it or have you owned it from new?
