Gallardo UGR stage 1

I'm looking to do a stage 1 on my Gallardo. Is there anyone available in the tri-state area with this kit. I would like to see one done before I take the plunge.

If a stage 1 is the same thing as their bolt on kit, I think you'll have a hard time finding a comparable car...UR has only done 1 bolt on car...REDGTS's black 04 egear...

Talk to Bergen Lamborghini in NJ as I believe the one that was done in CT had very serious issues and and the owner could not get that shop to fix the issues so he took it to Bergen Lambo. If that is the same car it had serious power module wiring issues. Not sure if the issues ever got resolved.

Thanks for the heads up but Bergen closed up shop this summer. There's gotta be someone around with a stage 1. I've been trying to talk to someone at UGR but they don't return calls

Are you referring to Danny Lyons bike shop? That's all I could find under DLM in Florida .

Contact Boost Logic in Austin or LMR in Houston.
Either one would be a great route to go.

Sorry, to clarify, when I read your title for UGR stage 1, I thought you meant UR specific.

Outside of UR, there's probably quite a few different bolt-on cars.

Dont be scared becuase his page says vipers. Also, dont be scared by what it says in the lambo section. He is one of the best guys out there. His reputation is awesome in the viper world and as far as I know in the lambo world. You could read more about him on lambopower.com

RedGTS will become famous soon enough
What are your goals for the car as far as power goes, and how do you plan to use it?

I'm looking to run 93 and 100 octane only. About 650-750 rwhp is enough. I dont want to sacrifice reliability. I strictly do highway rolls. I understand you had a 2004 Gallardo with this kit. I would like to hear your experience about it. You can PM me if you want. Thanks

I loved my bolt on setup. It drove like stock only with more power and had no reliability issues at all. I sold it to a guy in FL who I still talk to some, and I know he's had no issues with it either. But with that said, the stock rods in the '04-'08 cars are puny, and have been known to fail in stock cars, and that is why UR has not done any other bolt on systems on the early cars. Even though my car was tuned very conservatively for 650 whp on 93 octane at only 4 psi, they know that the rods are puny and just don't feel as confident as they would like putting boost on them with all the variables that come into play (different fuel types, driving styles, people playing with the boost controller, etc.) once a car leaves the shop. The '09+ cars aren't a problem because Lamborghini upgraded the rods.

If you're into highway rolls, it seems to me that pretty soon you're going to want more power anyway, because 650 whp in a highway roll is not all that much anymore, and these cars are capable of putting down so much more so easily. I have another car at UR right now getting a stage 3 setup, and would recommend you go with at least the stage 2.

As far as customer service, my experience was fantastic, and I've worked with many other tuners on different cars and have a basis for comparison. I'll PM you my phone number in case you want to talk.
