Big thanks to all the sponsors that helped put this event together. As of now most everyone I have talked to said it was one of the best motorsport events they have ever attended. I didnt have anything running this time, Supra is at the chassis shop getting a real cage and such. Next time I'll have the green car out and ready to run the heavy hitters. No more little 76mm turbo setup so it should run ok, but putting the power down like those lambos do is going to be the hard part!

Congrats to SW for the KOTS win, and glad everyone got to have as much fun as possible in a safe atmosphere!

 

It was a great time. Will be back with the car at 100%. Safe way for all that hp to be played with. Great event Thanks!

Yep, I don't have the patience to read the whole thread. That weekend was a blast, and SW definitely had the fastest car, it was awesome to see it run. It seemed to be a totally different car the last few races, raped ape, I guess that extra 5% on the boost controller did the trick.

Now I'd just like a car fast enough to play .

 

As others have said before, it was the best even i had been too hands down! Thanks to All the sponsers etc.. Was glad to help where i could!

As for the drama, keeps me entertained at work. SW's car was rolling out for sure!! I hope to see LMR get a clutch in that car and see what happens! Next event should be fun

Drama and **** talking aside, hats off to whomever finally found a way to successfully rent an airstrip for roll racing. Given how fast some of our street cars have become over the last couple years - it would be great if the organizer of this event could make it happen during Friday 3/16 of the upcoming March TX2K event - if the organizer has the desire to open it up to additional out of state cars. Getting the cars off the highway into a more controlled environment I believe is a good idea. With all the cameras there, I would much prefer to spank SW on that airstrip vs. on the street.

 

the airstrip is 270 miles aways from the TX2K festivities.

 

Jason, there MUST be an airstrip somewhere close to Houston that would be available? Surely Amar has run across some, no?

I'm fairly certain he searched. there are airstrips.....gotta find a car friendly one.....that's the hurdle.

 

Good point, but most of us have trailers. Whether its the Dallas one or another, I still think it makes sense.
