Thanks for posting, neat to see other variations! Were these posted anywhere previously? I've never seen them before.

The center exhaust TT Gallardos have been posted on all forums at one time or another.

Question, why didn't you try to do a TT system a bit different from Underground Racing? There is no doubt looking at the pictures below that a knock off has been performed. There are plenty of other ways to build a TT as Heffner, DLM, BL and Underground Racing are all totally different from each other.

I guess imitation is the best form of flattering.

I'll ask you kindly to please keep any bashing or pot stirring out of my thread. This is my thread to post updates on a TT build I'm paying for with a shop I chose. If you have questions for the shop/vendor I chose you can PM them or make your own thread. Thanks.

Any links? I've never seen a single one posted. However the Internet is a pretty big place so anything is possible!

Mainly for the same reason that all single turbo supras look virtually identical. The chassis layout only makes sense in slight varations. We considered doing a single turbo setup, all sorts of oddball twin layouts, and other formats to avoid pokes like this. But at the end of the day there are only a few ways to do the layout that work well given the layout of the chassis. The intercooler design is based around the bonnet/latch, the oil tank, and turbo placement. It makes the most sense to place the turbos where the factory muffler was, as there is the most room for them in that location and the factory had intended for intense heat in that area.
We wanted to use a large intercooler core and this is about the only way to place a brick this large in the engine bay with out other major reconstructive surgery.
The exhaust is much different than anything you have posted or than has been done by any of the tuners you mentioned.

Hope that helps!

I have to respectfully disagree about this being anything close to a supra as far as packaging. Look below at these kits from Heffner, BL and DLM. They are done all totally different from each other. Its easy to see who's system you were looking at when you started fabricating, no? So much for originality.

I guess you missed the part where he explained what reasoning went into the decision for the layout of the kit? There are different ways to do it, yes. But that doesn't mean it's right or better than another way. It wasn't like he thought "hey, UGR is doing this, it must be right." A conscious effort went into designing the kit. But, when I guess you have your thoughts about what he is doing, it won't matter what information is posted.

Thank you for totally derailing the thread. I explained the way I built the system and with good reason. If you don't like it that's fine. There are basically limitless layouts if you don't care about functionality and keeping a clean engine bay.

If we had been in a time capsule and we had the very first Gallardo TT system on the market, it would not have been any different. I placed the turbos where I wanted to based on routing for the exhaust. Then we looked at placement for the intercooler and simple routing from turbo to intercooler and intercooler to TB.

Other concerns are heat exchanger placement and air filter placement. Running our center exhaust setup helps to shroud the air filter from picking up all the hot air generated from a standard dual exhaust layout.

Just a few examples.

S-351...this is not the place for your discussion or opinion...a member started this thread about his build (not yours) and has chosen his vendor/tuner (not yours)...you made your opinion known in your first post so if you have nothing constructive to add start your own thread...if you have issues with Dallas Performance take it to pm...let's get back on topic...thanks

Thanks! Running 8psi and E85 I should be in the low to mid 800's. At 12psi it is in the low 1000's but I will not push mine that far without building the motor.
