Just got these pics from Kevin, and I am pumped to say the least. The engine build and TT system has been finished for quite a while, but since it was winter I decided to leave the car over there for some cosmetic mods, which I think have turned out quite nicely.
This is my second UR build, and I can't wait to pick her up. Thanks to Kevin, KC, and the rest of the Underground crew for exceeding my expectations, again!

what wheels are those? do you know the weights of them?

 

HRE CF43's (Carbon Series). I haven't weighed them, but the entire barrel is carbon fiber so they're definitely lighter than a typical forged wheel.

 

not sure what size the op has, but to give you an idea of weight:

20 x 8.5" = 8.0 kg (17.6 lb)
20 x 11" = 9.1 kg (20 lb)

 

Thank you for the answer. Yes, it must be a lot lighter as you mentioned. I was wondering how durable CF wheels are, especially at top speed trials and very rapid accelerations like that G is capable of.

 

Thanks. These are 19's so I would say they're even a little lighter than that.

 

I think they have been very durable based on the feedback I've gotten from Underground and other sources.

Hahaha. Peter you should know the only way anyone would get a set of these away from Kevin is to pry them out of his cold, dead hands! I actually got them from a friend who had them on his R8. Thanks man!
