i bet this is just the thread they have been waiting for to announce the release of their LP700tt kit!

 

rumor has it that they made over 2000 hp on that thing....... buuuut ill wait for them to confirm.

I thought they scrapped the kit because it doesn't have direct injection fuel system

 

i don't think they made that much progress, they've only had their Aventador for several months. With all the builds they have to keep up with I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see the top tier build for a year or so. But I strongly believe that UGR can attain that number.

 

The engine is all new, so it's going to take some significant development time

I think it lacking DI will be easier for them and the Murci lacks DI (IIRC)

I could be, I don't mean to under estimate UGR, they are a great shop that build amazing cars. One of which I hope to own sooner or later, if they made that much progress that fast I applaud them. I just thought it would take a little while to tinker with the car and unleash its full potential. I really hope to see some crazy numbers and times with whatever they release.

 

I don't know...but I can not wait until it comes out!!

 

i remember John Reed mentioning something on his FB page, that they are testing a TT Aventador and everybody is very excited...

Plus on another thread UGR had mentioned that they are working on another platform that can actually launch... I am assuming it is the Aventador...

To tell you the truth i will not be surprised to see a Stage 1 stock block Aventador running 9 second 1/4 mile passes... Hell, the stock car is good for mid to high 10s!!!
