I found these videos today...

Apparently the Total Race Lambo broke, but it looked SICK with crazy burnouts! An interesting thing to notice in the car is the clutch pedal with the paddle shifter...


Who knows what broke...



The Dark Blue GTR Alpha 1200+ managed a 22.7 which puts it as No.2 in terms of fastest times i think, behind the Total Race Lambo...


I am so jealous of this freakin Russian runway!!! LOL

 

looks like they succeeded in doing exactly what they were trying to do and that is break it before the race lol

 

It looked like a gasket or a turbo...

Torwards the end of the video the car was cranking but it would not start...

 

That's three events in a row that the Total Race lambo broke before even making a run. So much for russian ingenuity...

 

Didnt that Lambo start out as a UGR build?

 

Clutch with an e gear? Isn't that what heffner did on this 8.7 pass?

It must be a straight cut dogbox. You use a clutch just for the launch and the. Just the paddles or lever or sequential lever...

Probably that's what Heffner did... Good solution if you don't mind he lose from the straight cut gears with lightning shifts...

 

Yeah good idea but i think this car uses the clutch when shifting the shifts doesnt sound that fast compared to the heffner gallardo but all of this apply if if if if the car doesnt break lol

 

That Total Race Lambo sounds like a Viper! LOL!

It is all race, not a super clean showpiece like a Heffner or UR Lambo!

That thing is built only to go fast and looks like it is ready to go 4-wheeling!

How about the fast shifts on the GTR!

Both cars spun out of the hole!

I wonder when we will see some Lambos and GTR's do a wheelie like the Eddie Bello Porsche! That would be cool! Anybody out there set up a Lambo or GTR to wheelie?

 

I guess that's what happens when people push the limit.

This is the same transmission Heffner ran on his 8.7 pass...dog box, air shifted, no hydraulics, only use clutch to get off the line...really a badass transmission and you can hear on the shifts how much faster it shifts than the factory egear.

How does the most fully built UR trans compare to the one described above?

Does it still have helical gears or does it have straight cut gears as well?

Is there any difference in how much TQ the two can handle?

Wow, I cannot imagine what that transmission set up would cost and how often rebuild is required. My buddies with 997 GT3 Cup Cars with Porsche sequential shift manual used to say everytime they changed transmission oil there was huge amounts of metal in oil - Doh !
