Keyed Gallardo...Need help w/ A+ paint job in Bay Area

Well, sad to say that this is my first post with unfortunate news. It seems as though there are plenty of good people on this forum that may be able to help me out. My 2006 New Years present was that my "Baby" (Lamborghini Gallardo/ Pearl Yellow) got keyed across the rear drivers side panel...about 2 1/2 feet long. Does anybody know a high quality place to get it fixed since it is such a hard color (Pearl Yellow) to fix. I am willing to take it anywhere in California if that what it takes to make it perfect. Unbelievable that random people do such F'd up things to cars.

Thanks so much!

Chris

Sorry to hear that, I've had it happen, too - from headlight to taillight all the way down to the metal.

I am sure the dealer can help you. I have a buddy with a pearl orange one and Lambo of Orlando has done a lot of "extra" paint work for him (ie: calipers, valve covers, wheels etc)

I would say take it to a top bodyshop over a dealer but can't recommend one in Cali.

Sucks man, someone keyed "oink" into the front doors of an H2 I had back in the day, bad times

Geeze... really sorry to hear that. These envious pieces of sh*t need to be shot on sight.

I've also had problems with bored neighbourhood kids or whatever idiot decided to key my car. The dealership should take care of you. Stuff like this just pisses the hell out of me.

Thanks for the input so far...greatly appreciated. Spoke to the dealer today and made a few calls. I'm more pissed of the more I look at the car and become more nervous to have a "half ***" paint job done. Anymore recommendations for shops would be great.

Thanks again guys!!!

The Lambo dealer in San Francisco does not have a body shop or a shop they deal with? The Lambo dealer on Van Ness looked pretty nice. Weird.

Your sig shows quite a lovely selection of cars. What did you trade the G for - the CGT?

It's unbelievable, but there are some F'd people in this world.

Last halloween my range rover had a cement planter disk thrown at the hood that did some major hood and windshield damage.

I had it fixed at:

Apex Auto Body
350 Phelan Ave
San Jose, CA 95112
(408) 971-9332

My buddy backed his brand spanking new 430 into his motorcycle trailer causing some bumper damage. He took it to:

Perfect Reflections
(510) 581-9535
21051 Western Blvd
Hayward, CA 94541

Being that I dropped him off and picked the car up. I saw that they did a perfect job, and they wont be happy unless you're happy.

I was going to say talk to Redline Robert but I see he has already contacted you. He had some extra paintwork done on his pearl yellow Murcie. OR you can speak to Andreas who has an orange Gallardo. He also had some recent paintwork done as well.
