50 cent arrested in his Lambo in NYC

NEW YORK (Reuters) -- Rapper 50 Cent was arrested in New York on Friday for driving dangerously in an uninsured Lamborghini through Midtown Manhattan, police and witnesses said.
The recording artist, whose given name is Curtis Jackson, was pulled over by an unmarked patrol car. At first he refused a police order to get out of the car, instead making a call on his cell phone, tourist Ian Parvess said.
"Eventually the cops opened the door. ... He just got out of the car and put his hands on the car and they put the cuffs on him," Parvess, who videotaped the arrest, told Reuters.
A police spokesman said he was cited for making an unsafe lane change, driving with an expired permit, driving without insurance and driving without a vehicle registration.
He was due to be released as soon the the summonses could be written, the spokesman said.

He made sure to have his seatbelt on though. Wouldn't want to get pulled over for not wearing it.

I didn't know non-uniformed officers could pull you over for a routine traffic stop. I guess they do whatever they want in NY.

So, let me get this straight.

He's driving around with no insurance, no drivers license, no vehicle registration in a Lambo through midtown Manhattan and then is stupid enough to drive dangerously ?

He'd probably "pop a cap in my ***" for saying it, but I think the guy is several sandwiches short of a picnic.

This is soo true. Tough to swallow being pulled over by a yellow cab. That shyt happened to my cousin several years ago. Tried to give him the refusing to stop for an officer rap.

Just one more arrest on his already long criminal history. Amazing how you can have that much money and still continue to the same stupid **** he used to do in "da hood".

man, celebrity arrests are way up as of late first Mel, then Paris, now 50...who's next?

they can do that pretty much anywhere if they're equipped with lights and siren. most don't though, because it's a pain in the ***.

I dont think 50 cent is anything special, without a doubt overrated.....its all "pop" rap/hiphop, a new phenomenon. Cant say I am a fan.
