Exterior styling reactions?

I'd love to hear the combined wisdom of the group. For me, it's all good EXCEPT for the side blades. They look contrived and (stick with me here) Pontiac-ish. You know, the plastic body cladding they used for years.... I'd take mine in body color.

The rest (hood line, top line, stance, rear view) are spot on.

Really dislike the side blades as well... I don't understand it. Hope we're able to either remove them completely, or at least have them color matched.

Not crazy about the side blades either, and kinda pissed that you have to pay to get them painted body color. What the hell are they for anyway??

The rest of the car looks good to me.

You guys don't even like them in cf? I guess they may work if you get other accents in black, like roof rails and window trim.

I think the spoiler could be a bit more aggressive, like the cayenne gts.

All in all, it's the best looking cuv on the market.

The side blades are color matched on the Turbo, come standard Black on the S. Seems like the front ends are similar on the Turbo and S, which is unlike the Cayenne? I do like how on the Turbo, the portion on rear where the license is mounted is color matched.

I'm definitely intrigued.

i honestly have to seen them in person. Porsche somehow manages to do a good job with all new models. for example the panamera facelift looks hot, makes the older one looks dated now. :-)

It's a small truck.
What do you want?

I'm sure it's dependable and well-made (two things that were never up top of my list when I've bought Porsche's.....but to each his own). I'm sure it will do well for Porsche.

What are your thoughts on the S and Turbo looking so similar, where as on the Cayenne, the Turbo/GTS distinctively stand apart from the other engine variants?

I think the Turbo has sufficient distinction in style. What is interesting is that both the S and the Turbo are turbo-charged.

I think it looks pretty sweet overall, I can't wait to see one in person. I am surprised it seems the turbo and the S share the same bumper. I'm also surprised that the turbo has more drl junk crammed into the front bumper ducts. I would have thought it would be the opposite. Isn't that one of the distinct features a turbo has over a base model? The rear looks clean but a little plain. I could see Porsche adding a crease back there in a future face lift.
