What color combination will look best on Turbo ? I find the selections very limited

No seriously, that's a question no one can answer for you. Everything about colors is personal preference. And although there are limitations on the standard colors, Porsche will be happy to sell you the interior you want. Via their Exclusive department, almost evrything is possible as long as you pay for it.

BTW, more interior color options will be available from 10/2014 according to the German pricelist.
However... I'm not quite sure if that means october 2014 or week 10-2014. I hope it is week 10......

Week 10 makes good sense, as that's around the time the early builds will be completed for the initial allocations. October 2014 would be a long time to wait just for extra color options. I wonder when we will see Paint to Sample come in as an option for Macan.

 

I see a Palladium color available for the Macan in the USA configurator but don't recall that as a Porsche color. The associated picture makes it look like a fairly awful beige.

MB has a very nice Palladium Silver that is actually more a light gray. If it is close to the MB Palladium then that will be at the top of my list along with Agate.

 

Here's Palladium Metallic on the Panamera Turbo S (exclusive to the PTS). Will probably be very close to Palladium Silver.

 

Ugh, don't post this again please, I had to cover my eyes ... I think it's one if not the worst angle to look at the Panamera.

 

Oh come on man, I think it's a killer color on a handsome car. I used to think the Panamera wasn't very attractive, but drove it on a number of occasions when my 911 was in service. Wow, what an incredible car, and....for some reason I've grown to love the shape/look as well.

In any case, if the Macan will come in that color, that's the color I'm ordering!

 

Palladium Metallic is a color option in the Macan configurator, but as mentioned, it looks more beige than the Panamera above. I'd like to see a live photo vs. a rendering of the Palladium Metallic, really like it in the image above, not so much in the configurator.

 

Although Porsche has a great 3D configurator, the colors are not always very accurate. Dark blue is too light, Palladium is too brown and too dark, Agate is too dark...
You always need to see a color in person to really judge it IMO.

I was seriously considering black... but white with CF door inserts looks insanely good too. Few more days and my deposit is in

I was trying to decide on colour using the UK configurator (which doesn't have sapphire blue - almost certainly a 'special' colour) and never considered white until I clicked on it by accident. It's my new favourite Works well with not only the CF inserts but also the black grill, black pillars, black skirts and black rear window surround

 

Sapphire blue is not a special color and it's not on any configurator yet. According to the German pricelist, t will be available from 10/2014, together with a new color called "Impulse red" (not sure if it is week 10 or month 10....).

Regarding the sideblades... I don't like them, but it is a matter of personal taste of course.

thanks for the clarification; wonder what the goal of that strategy is (debuting the car in a colour but not allowing the first preorders to be of that colour)

Not a fan of the sideblades either (body paint colour should be standard or NCO) but I guess the aim is to significantly differentiate it from the Cayenne. However against white they are quite the turn-on! (for me )
