Trying to finalize my order

I have a couple of questions while I try to finalize my order for a Turbo with a September build/October delivery. Is anyone familiar with Agate Grey? I have black full leather in my 991S Cab and wanted to go with something different in the Macan. I don't like light colored interiors. The color in the configurator looks fairly dark and the pictures I've seen online are all over the place depending upon the lighting.

Has anyone seen a car with and without full leather? I got it in the 991 because I like the leather dash and the aluminum trim on the doors. The Macan already has these, so the full leather just adds more leather in other places. I'm not sure if it needs it.

I'm trying to keep the price as close to $80,000 as possible. For me the must haves are Premium Pkg, Heated Front and Rear Seats, Voice Control, and 20" Wheels. I know we can debate "must haves" forever, but this works for me. Comments?

I like the Agate grey body color, and have same concerns. I like black, but because I want to avoid the pano roof, am afraid it will be pretty dark inside. Two-tone beige would be ideal if it were available like in the Cayenne. Am hopeful more choices will be showing up on the configurator for October and later builds. Have you checked out the Agate interior? It is a little lighter than black (not much), and has a slight brown hue to it. Check out the interior samples at your dealer.

If Agate is just a bit lighter than black, it will be perfect. Unfortunately, the nearest Porsche store is about an hour and half away, so looking at leather samples will be difficult. For the exterior, right now I'm going with silver, but if sapphire blue is available I'll make the switch.

I have agate gray full leather in my dark blue 991s and it looks great. Much darker than the other grays Porsche offers. It has a hint of brown to it and I have had many compliments on the interior.

Pictures do not do it justice. It helps to see it in person. Lighter than black, it shows off interior details nicely, reduces Dashboard glare and is easy to keep up. IMO, it's much nicer than black and works with just about any color.

Of course, ymmv.
Hope this helps

Thanks. That's exactly the feedback I was looking for. Right now I'm going with Rhodium Silver/Agate Grey, Premium Plus, Rear Seat Heating (front is included in PP), Sport Design Wheels with Summer Tires, and Voice Control. Pretty close to my target number. If Sapphire Blue is available I might make the switch.

Good to hear, as I wasn't sure if agate gray would work with silver or agate exterior (or blue for that matter).

The below picture has been floating around with some possible fall additions. The saddle interior combos with either black or Luxor may be of interest.

My order is in for a September build/October delivery. My rep thinks the new colors will be available in the fourth quarter, but if that time frame moves up, I might change either the exterior color, the interior color, or both. TripleL, have you heard anything about the availability of the new colors?

Great timing on this question as I received a call from my dealer yesterday that the Macan brochures were in. Picked mine up last night and FWIW on the pages with exterior and interior colors in tiny print it reads:

*Available from 10/2014 at the earliest
It's not much but it is in print directly from Porsche.

In the US, PP includes both front and rear seat heating:

Seat Heating (Front and Rear)
Electric heating of front and rear seats with three levels of adjustment.
EDIT: never mind, I just now noticed you are getting the Turbo, in this case front heating is actually standard, not part of the package.

You're right, it's standard on the Turbo. Strange that ventilated front seats are included in the PP, but heated rear seats aren't. What's also confusing is that on the options list, it says front and rear heated seats, instead of just rear. My dealer, which is 5 hours away from my house, just sent me the brochure along with a couple of discount coupons for the NY Auto Show. I'll be in NY for Easter, so it'll be my first chance to see the Macan in person.
