Thanks guys for the nice words.

Sorry, no fancy wheels for her, as I guarantee that she will curb all the wheels many times.

I am in no position to recommend investment to others, as I'm sure a lot of you have better financial knowledge than me.

I'm quite lazy dealing with my finances. I work with 2 financial advisors and they will just make decisions to do whatever with my stocks and mutual funds, etc. Yes, always max my RRSP every year.

Bought a few small residential condos units and rent them out.

I have a dentist friend that is doing really well. He bought dentist's offices and hires dentists to work for him. He drives Porsches, Maserati, Mercedes, etc.

Healthcare reimbursement is shrinking and in an era of ever-increasing paperwork and regulations (HIPAA etc)..
JK good luck and congrats, the car is beautiful!

The Macan is really cute. I was looking at one for my GF but didn't realize they were so small. In pictures the car looks bigger but it's tiny. Did you look at the Audi AllRoad or anything similar size cute-ute like a Rav4 or CRV?

Congrats!
Nice car but not fan of the white exterior for Macan and the cheesy black side blades.
It looks like a Q5 when the Macan has light exterior color

Talk about spoiling your kids. Porsche as a 1st car? Not a believer.

Congrats! I agree the 18" wheels are a good choice for a young driver. Anything more is just wasting money.

Congrats to you. I am a daughter whose father also bought her a safe and beautiful SUV as a first car. 13 years later, I am a doctor and bought myself the 911! Hope she becomes a lifelong Porsche fan like me and you both can share that special bond. Best of luck to her and her future medical career

A solid used Subaru or similar first for ours but everyone's kid is different.

I am a doctor and could afford a Ferarri but would rather sock it away into NOBL or similar in retirement accounts for my kids trusts when they hit 30 y/o.

New Doc's will be very unlikely ever be able to afford a Ferrari with healthcare changes, fyi.
