2016 Macan - Invoice Pricing of Options, etc??
2016 Macan - Invoice Pricing of Options, etc??
Looking to pull the trigger on a 2016 Macan S in the near future. On all my recent Porsche purchases, I was able to load a webpage which outlined dealer costs, MSRP, etc for all the options. This was so very helpful in negotiating....
Can someone point me in the right direction?
I am also trading in my 997tt for a 991tt....so if someone can point me to a similar webpage for this car too, thatd be awesome!

I don't know about other vehicles but I think 9~10% off of MSRP is the invoice pricing for Macan S. Unfortunately, some of the websites that I used to use for invoice pricing don't have any information about Macan. Can't really help you but my 2cents.
I bet all those looking for/at Macan's would like to know where they can get 9-10%! Most Porsche dealers are very close to MSRP on these cars due to high sales volume and lack of cars.
~5.5% price increase in MY16 makes things even worse. I think this is the biggest price increase I've ever seen on a vehicle with minimal standard feature changes (3-zone is the only thing that's added along with 2~3 very minor things).
I've used edmunds in the past. No 2016 info yet but here is the link for 2015:

Like others have said most pay MSRP although some of us repeat buyers and a few other lucky one have received a small discount.
Good luck and have fun as the Macan is a great vehicle!!

I agree but there are huge demands for the vehicle, which blows my mind. Dealers are still selling them like hotcakes.
It's not only wrong, it's a symptom of bad business management. These allocations, along with the US dollar's big upswing against world currencies fly in the face of price increases, and other automakers will likely enjoy and take advantage of miscues like this to gain market share. There is a new VW corporate board spat that recently broke out between the Piech's and the Porsche's that hints at disagreement on how company is being run. It will be interesting to watch....
Let's not forget that while Porsche's pricing policies may seem "wrong", Porsche is still the highest margin entity in the VW group. Similar to Apple, they have created a business model that allows them to charge a premium for their products, regardless of factors such as exchange rates etc. As long as people keep buying, why would they change?
Wonder what Porsche's margin per car is if you take all the non related businesses income from the total that gets divided by the number of cars built/sold to get to the high return per car. Porsche has something many many subsidiaries that produce profits that get rolled up. Weissach revenue, the consulting group and on it goes. Also all the distributor and dealers they own around the world. Take all that out and what's the real profit per car????
Also, the Euro has fallen against almost all other currencies and I wonder how much the cost of the various parts/materials etc. have gone up because of this.
