Advice on Porsche Wheel Choices for 2017 Build

Trying to decide on 20 inch Spyder wheel design or 20 inch Sport Design Wheel.
Any thoughts?

We just picked up a very slightly used 2016 Turbo with 21's. I'm sure I'll get some negativity here but here is my thought. Did a little research and the summer tires for the staggered wheels are only rated for 20,000 miles and I've read a few have only gotten slightly over 10K. If it is a toy being driven a few thousand miles a year, well o.k., they will last several years. Daily driver, you'll be replacing tires very quickly. The staggered sets on Tire Rack and Discount Tire are pretty expensive, plus again only rated for 20K miles. If I were ordering a new Turbo, I would probably go for the base 19 wheels (no additional cost) wait a while and order a set of knock off 20 turbo wheels from Tire Rack. Ebay has them too. Get the same size all around and buy tires rated for 50K miles (plus the road hazard warranty is far less than for the staggered tires). Yes, they are not forged wheels but the Macan is not a 3,000 pound track car. Good luck hunting.

I have a GTS with 21" wheels and P-Zero tires and yes I expect to replace the tires, all part of the cost of ownership. I was looking for a certain color combination (interior/exterior) and this way my only choice, bought off the lot, not patient enough to order. Ride quality is fine, no complains.

I've been around Macan forums now for a couple of years and the Spyder wheels always look great to me. So given the 2 wheels you listed I would go with the Spyders. They will take a bit longer to keep clean but I think they're worth it. Enjoy your search!

Recently ordered a GTS with a mid August build date. RS Spyder wheels are on backorder with no availability date given. I had to go with 20" Macan Sport Desiqn or postpone by production date indefinitely.

Maybe someone will make a large aftermarket key to stick on the tailgate.
