So I have 3 questions for Cobb Tuning:
1. I have a 2015 Macan S. Can I use the Accessport to initially download the OEM+ map (simulated stock like GTS calibration), then download the Macan GTS Stage 1 V100 to get maximum power benefit?
2. Is this purely an ECM tune or an ECM and TCM tune?
3. Any capacity or future plans for on-the-fly switching between the 91 and 93 octane maps?
BTW, having already used your Accessport on my 2010 GT-R, your product is amazing and works flawlessly!!
Thanks
Jonathan

1) When you install the Accessport, it will identify your vehicle and ECU ROM id as a Macan S and then only allow you to flash maps for that specific ROM ID/vehicle ID combination. You'll see options for the OEM+ maps (to give you stock GTS power levels) and stage 1 maps. The stage 1 maps you'll see will be specific for the Macan S (so not v100 GTS maps) but the stage 1 maps for the Macan S and the GTS will provide approximately the same whp/tq gains on both vehicles.
Aka- there's no reason to download a Stage 1 GTS map to the Accessport and then try to flash it to your Macan S, as the power output will be the same using the preloaded Stage 1 Macan S map.
2) We currently only provide ECU tuning. PDK tuning is something we're investigating for future release but there is currently no decision on if, or when, that support would be available.
3) Map switching is not currently available for the Porsche Accessports but it's definitely a feature we're hoping to add across the Porsche platform in the future.
Thanks!

Thank you for the response Jared.
One last question (promise):
What time frame are you looking at to offer custom tuning?

No problem at all, happy to answer them for you!
We're hoping to have Accesstuner Pro out to our Protuners within the few weeks or so. Best guess would be by mid-September at the latest but that could adjust either way depending upon project demands. Shoot us an email in a couple weeks and we'll update you on the current status.
Thanks!

Re-opening this thread. Just purchased a '17 GTS (flying to pick up on Monday) that will have a Porsche Platinum warranty on it. Can the flash be reversed back to stock prior to taking in for service? If not, I'm assuming that having the tune runs the risk of voiding the warranty for anything engine-related failing?
Thanks for any insights that might be available!
