Macan S road noise

Absolutely the worst of any car I had. How's the noise on yours.

Wow. My wife and I had a '17 Macan 4 cylinder entry level loaner for a couple of days and were able to put about 240 miles on it. My impression was it was very quiet on the road. Of course the comparison is our '10 C4S which has the 305 tires in the rear. Now that car has road noise that makes me crazy. Tires are in good condition too so it is not a wear issue causing the noise.

I have a 2015 Macan S. The interior is the quietest of any car I have ever owned. Although I do have the Thermal & Noise Insulating Glass. The noise level has a lot to do with the quality of the road surface.

Feedback on when and where the noise is coming from as well as knowing more about the issue. Initial post is very short and not helpful

On a highway at 50mph and up. Road noise... not quiet in the cab. I had cheap sedans were quieter. Definitely improved with new tires. Some tires are better than others.
