BlackBullet is infamous around these parts
Any supercharged GT's?

I'm either purchasing a '05 Maserati Coupe or a 997S. Whichever one I get, will be heavily modded. I'm leaning towards the Maserati because I haven't seen a modded one.

A few questions I have...

1) Are there any supercharger kits available for Maseratis?
2) If I have to make a custom sc kit, are there any engine management units available for Maseratis?
3) I haven't been able to find many aftermarket parts for Maseratis. Can you link me to a website that sells aftermarket parts?

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think there's much out there for the Masers aside from exhausts. Sorry.

You could probably fabricate a turbo setup for the car, but a supercharger would be a bit more difficult. Then again, if you want a faster Italian, buy a Ferrari and be done with it.

Otherwise, just go with the 997S. It'll be more fun to drive, less of a hassle, and there are plenty of supercharger kits out there for it.

Novitec will soon have superchargers systems for the gran turismo S and the 599GTB, expected power is 820hp for the 599gtb.

I had a 03 Maser coup, though it was a paddle shirt. Never liked the GT gearbox and the shifter was in a odd place. I did chip and straight pipe the car and it did help with low end torque. I also own a very heavily moded (90k in upgrades)997S that is supercharged, and my advise would be bu a used 05 or 06 and call vf engineering.

I dont know about engine management on these carss but it cant be that different then tuning any other car. I think you should just start out with a 996tt or a 997tt if your gonna throw a ton of cash into a car.

Just to let ya know,
2005- GS with our base tune it brings you to 424 hp a jump over stock of 29hp and it brings your torque to 349 thats 16 over stock. now thats the average gain. there are points on the graph where you will see more than the 29 and 16 increase. Also on alot of the cars I can change the trans software giving you a stronger shift.
