I'd be really surprised if Merc brought over a 6 cyl model SL. I'd expect to see the American Base SL-Class to be a V8.

The SL350 is going to the USA? That is a good idea. Europe gets now a SL280 with 280hp. But we are going to order a 635d cab. I like the new end of the SL.

I agree, the steering wheel is straight from the c class with wood.. and it really cheapens the interior.

60-65K optioned I would be all over it, I live the sl500/55 but way to much power for the driving that I do daily.

this is the SL class, not sure why it's titled SLC in the thread. it's simply a 3.5L V6. Dunno the point of this thread. If it's US bound, I'd not be surprised since US had a V6 SL in the previous generation and the 3.5L is decently powered for those needing a fuel consciencious roadster.
