G500 or ML63???

Getting ready to move to a single daily driver. Considering either a G500 or ML63. Thoughts? I have looked at the RR Supercharged, but cant get my mind around the service related issues. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

I would go with the Ml 63, I own a G 500 and have tested an ML 63. The G's pickup is absolutely terrible and the backseats are pretty bad. But it depends if you want speed or not. If you have any other questions feel free to ask !

Part of me hates to give up the performance of an AMG. My CLS55 has been a great car. I like the timeless look of the G500, but I would agree it is not a quick ride.

I owned an 04 Cayenne S and really liked it. It became a project vehicle with EVO (supercharger) and I ended up buying a 997. The new GTS looks great, perhaps worthy of another look.

TT - Thoughts on the ML compared to your RRSC?

The thing with the G is either you love it or you hate it ! Anyways after having a Porsche Cayenne Turbo, I really like that more then the RRSC. Therefore I would recommend the a Porsche before I do a RRSC. They are a nice all around truck with comfort, aesthetics and everything else but as far as speed goes its not going to compare to a ML 63 nor a CTT. Also I sent you some pictures of my RRSC's as well as the G.

Is this going to be your only car ??

The Cayenne GTS is real nice, I had a 04 Cayenne S as well, I was considering the GTS, but end up replacing my Cayenne S to a Range Rover Sport Supercharged and I love it ! One of the reason I did not pick the GTS was because it has the almost same exact interior like my Cayenne S, so I think is kind of boring to have the same interior again ( after 4 years of ownership of my Cayenne S ) ! But if you want the speed, for sure get the ML63 !

If you want near CLS55 level acceleration in an SUV the ML63 is the obvious choice. The ML63 will DESTROY the Cayenne GTS 0-60. I think you would ultimately be unhappy with the overall performance of the G500 compared to the CLS55 or ML63. If you admire the G500's classic look- enjoy them visually on the road or in parking lots while DRIVING the ML63.
