Hey guys. i recently purchased a black on black 2006 CLS55, and i plan to mod the hell outta the engine. as far as looks go, i need help with my wheel color combo. I am going to slam the car via links, and get Marion MR-1 wheels, but I can't decide which color combo to go with. i want my car to make people go "holy ****" when they see it. my options are as follows: 1) Matte black star with polished lip 2) Gloss black star with polished lip or 3) gloss black star with chrome lip... my friend who used to be with DAZZ Motorsports says to go with option #3. I was leaning towards option #1, as i would like my car to look sinister. my plate is going to say "M-KILLR" on it, so i want every aspect of my car to match that theme. what do you guys think?!

Below is a pic of the wheel. I am kinda leaning towards getting the chrome lip with gloss black star, as Marion doesn't offer a polished lip w/ clear coat and gloss black star. They only offer a brushed lip w/ clear coat and gloss black star (personally, I don't see how a brushed lip w/ clear coat is that different aesthetically versus a polished lip w/ clear coat).

 

i like the wheel..not sure about color unless i see it..a shade of black is the way to go though..mine are black with chrome lip..have to wipe them down very frequently..

Leave as is, black rims are getting played out. Very unique plate option.

 

I would do gloss black on chrome.
