2010 e350
I also bought at Greenway....there were still a couple of 09's left...were you aware of the heavy discounts? I paid 42.5K for Premium 1, AMG performance package, Iridium silver and Walnut Burl trim. Amazing deal.
Yes. And 900 bucks off MSRP on the bodystyle that just came out isn't so bad, i'm sure you could have done better but the thing did just come out. If you wanted more performance you should have stepped it up to at least the 8 cylinder. The 350 are plain transportation.
Th 2010's MSRP's were "recession priced" and a pretty good value (for a Mercedes).
The 321 sport package, my dear Walnut Includes "sport" leather steering wheel with black shift paddles, modified lower bodywork (AMG-style front airdam, side sill extensions and modified rear apron) and 18" 5-spoke AMG-style wheels.
I thought about a 550, but w/ my GT2 and 600 whp M3, nice comfortable trasportation was what I was looking for. I don't need another car that wants to kill me.

Once the economy gets better the price of the mercedes are going to increase by $4000 and the reason I settled on the e350 was the same reason as dr.jitsu because I have a 997 so there is no need for another sports car at all, and I was aware of the dicounts given on the 2009 but for a couple of thousand more you could get the new e class and in the greenway dealership there were not any 2009 e classes available except for one that was a 550. The my e350 came with sports package which was no cost at all and the price was 48000 with no options at all because the car came with everything I wanted which wasn't in my e500.
In any event, the E series is the best value Mercedes no doubt. I was assured by my mechanic that any e series built after 2006 (IE no Chrysler garbage) should be bullet proof in terms of reliability.
^^^ ah yes, thank god for Chrysler's separation. My 07 is bulletproof so far. Just oil changes and a small creak from the Pano roof. Dr.Jitsu...you already have a few monsters in your garage. Driving your E must be like laying down in a nice leather couch.
