picking up my C63, should I break in?

If it's a lease you don't intend to buy, it may not matter how you break it in.

I thought AMG runs the engine on the dyno before putting it in the car? but as many others have said, the other components (tranny, diff...) needs to be broken in.

put your foot into it, straight out of the gate. 2 very close friends of mine did same thing to 997TT and W212 E63 and they are running perfectly fine.

you should, there's a sticker on the top left hand side of the windshield which tells you the list of proper break in procedure

If you just spent $70k+ on a car, why would you NOT follow the factory recommendations of breaking in the car. I can without a doubt say that nobody on this forum (or other forums) knows more about the car then Mercedes who recommend breaking in they're way.

yes amg does dyno test there engines. And to argue with the diff break-in, With all aftermarket performance differentials the recommended break-in procedure is to do donuts to seat the clutches otherwise it could take alot of driving to heat them up and break them in.
