I am considering getting a new 2011 G55 AMG. Anybody bought one recently? How much discounts are dealerships giving on these G55 or should I be looking at? One last question, any good recommendations as to which dealerships in Southern California to make my purchase? Thank you all so much for the advise and replies!!!

 

I'm a Canadian that was looking to import a G55 or G550 into Canada. From my research I found one white 2011 with 1,000mles on it and they would not go any lower then $119,000. Find a dealer that has a few in stock and see how much they will drop!

I ended up ordering a new 2011 G550 in Canada and could get 5k of MSRP. Now I have to wait 5 months for it to be built!

 

You may also want to post your inquiry on mbworld.org. You'll probably get your best deal, (approx. 5K) at either Fletcher Jones or South Bay. Good luck!

Thanks! I found one out of state that is willing to do 6k off MSRP. Have to wait till April. The wait is long, but at least we know that we are getting a great vehicle!!!

Have you considered waiting a bit longer and ordering a 2012? No confirmed details yet but expect the 2012 G to get more then just a 'freshing' as with prior years.

 

What would be required in real life to make one look like that?
The wheels and lowering springs? Is there anything else on there that isn't stock?
