I love AMG mercedes, but seriously is there one AMG that was made with a manual transmission? or honestly is there any known conversions that have or can be done?

 

I never heard of any AMGs that came manual.
The new ones use a wet clutch auto

 

Your question will not be taken seriously, seriously. Short of a ill-prepared race shop you will destroy a modern AMG attempting to do this. Buy a CTS-V. It's the closest thing with a manual.

 

Mercedes Benz does not trust their customers with a manual transmission.

 

How can you beat the ease of an auto?? Dont get me wrong, I can grip and rip with the best of them. But I like getting into my AMG and just hitting the gas

yeah i was thinking more older amgs, like 90s ones, like r129 era of all mercedes. speaking of which, was the 300sl r129 the only sl to have a manual or did the 500 have it too?

 

If I could do a 6 speed manual swap and a coil over conversion, my E55 would be a perfect all around car!

 

Why wouldn't we take this seriously? If my C63 had a 6 speed I would still have it...

 

You missed the point of my response. Not "why not to do it" but "can he do it?". I totally agree with a 6S C63...Would be brilliant. Like I said, any modern AMG would be destroyed with a conversion, if he could find someone to do it. Just sayin'.

there's one problem with one of those in my opinion and you will more than likely disagree with it, but nonetheless
A 190E cosworth is just saying you couldn't afford the E30 M3, which is better in nearly all aspects

 

I doubt it will ever happen, but it would actually be pretty neat if AMG Mercedes made a manual.
