Need wheel recomendations for our new E55

Ok guys, dad just ordered an 04 E55 AMG Benzo, will be here end of next month (Dec.). The car is white with black int. and almost every options (no parkdistance, or distronic) my dad is not THAT old . Lookin to do some nice wheels...my dad and stepmom are into the BLING (must run in the family ). So they prefer chrome or highpolish. Anyone have some nice pics or idea for our car??

Evan,

There are several MB tuners that make wheels. I would check the websites of Carlsson, Lorinser, Brabus, Lowenhart & Renntech. I prefer brabus and Lorinser wheels. Cut and paste links or simply click on link, if it works. They are MB CL's for sale with various MB aftermarket rims on them I know you are getting the E55, but, it will give you an idea of how they look on a car. I am in the market for a CL and that is how I found these. If links do not work, simply go to www.ebaymotors.com and search for each of the numbers below

1)http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2441910964
2)http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2442699544
3) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2443605333
4) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2442413189
5) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2441793128

1) 2441910964 (kelleners)
2) 2442699544
3) 2443605333 (Brabus)
4) 2442413189 (BRABUS)
5) 2441793128 (Lorinser)

Thanks Lou, I am aware of those companies, our SL55 had Brabus wheels and pullies... I was just looking to see if anyone had any specific wheels they ahve seen on the car that looked nice besides the MB tuners (HRE's, BBS, etc...).
This car will be sent to Renntech(right up the street from me) when it gets here for some goodies

Evan,

I'm shopping for light forged wheels for a C32 AMG I've got coming next week. They are hard to find in the proper fitment weighing less than 20 lbs. I'll let you know if I find something I think you'll like. My main goal is to reduce unsprung weight which sounds like a slightly different priority than what you may be after.

Evan,

I figured you knew those. Did you clikc on the links anyway? There is a pic of the CL with chrome Lorinsers that looks great IMO. Anyway, if I come across any others, I will let you know. Problem is, the ones I see that are not from MB tuners are all blinged up, in a bad way. They look terrible, although, I am sure there are plenty of wheels out there that would look good. If you haven't already check out this website: http://www.superbuytires.com They have a ton of MB wheels.

In the most recent issue of Dub Magazine (w/ DJ Demi's car), there's a beautiful E55 in there with some really nice wheels whose name escape me at the moment. If you don't know what I am talking about, I could scan it for you later tonight.

I love the black HRE's on the one in lee's SEMA post too...

Lowenhart LD1's would look great too.

Orrrrr.....there's always the Davin Revolution 4.1 with insert of your choice (custom painted white insert would look amazing..). The 4.2 and Midnight Star would be cool too.

I might be biased, but I think some 20" Kleemann TS6s would look nice

Thats what I was thinking, but can't decide which ones would look good on the E.... I saw that silver one with the black 542's and it looked sick, but my familly is not a fan of the twists... Also the car is white, so I am trying to think of what finish would look best... I think charcoal would look best, but my dad said he wants bling . Peter, do you have anymore pictures of E's with HREs??
Thanks,
Evan
