Quote: Very nice specimen- congrats! Can you give me the last 6 digits of your VIN? (PM me if you prefer). I maintain a register of R230s and P30s in particular and its nice to know where these cars live and who the owners are.

Based on my records, there were a total of 9 MY 2007 Mystic White P30s sold in the US. All came with the Exclusive Leather - Black/Anthracite (511A) interior and X27 Leather Designo Porcelain Single-Color option. I don't know which of the 9 is yours (hence the request for the last 6 of your VIN), but all 9 cars came with the same W64 Maple Grain Designo Natural Trim Pieces. Your photos show carbon fiber trim, so it may have been a dealer or post purchase change.
Yes I changed the interior trim to carbon fiber among a few other subtle tweaks.

So its the carbon fiber that makes it unique. I'm in Las Vegas so not too far from you. My 08 P30 was sold by W I Simonson in Santa Monica. I bought it in Phoenix in 2011, shipped it to Philadelphia, a year later I had it shipped back to LA and my daughter's house until we moved to Vegas and it has lived in the desert since then. It has done a number of LV-LA trips since then and effortlessly leaves pretty much everything on the road in its rear view mirror.

New guy with P30
Hello All; Just today had an e-chat with Vlad, was told about this thread, and thought I'd come over and take a look. I added this 2007 SL55 P30 two years ago to my toys, bought it from a friend that found it on BaT two years earlier after looking for some time for a P30. After deciding to move to southern Florida he decided a black SL was a bit much so made me an offer I couldn't refuse and here I am.

Thanks Vlad! Tinted windows needed to not let the world see the stupid adolescent grin every time I drive it. Now maybe some extra sound insulation to cover the incessant giggling when I stick my foot in it. What an awesome car!

I had John at BentleyGrills make me the following pieces:
A cf and alcantara with red stitching steering wheel out of a brand new oe SL wheel, so I could keep the stock one
A keyless go shift **** with the AMG logo instead of ‘engine start / stop on the switch face, matching alcantara and red stitched boot
New center console and ashtray covers so all the weave would match

JB Speed’s cf trunk spoiler was also a perfect match

Welcome! From the photos, it looks like (548) Amber Red Metallic and it is a 2006 P30 with a black interior (please confirm datapoints). There were just 4 Amber Reds produced that year- One was sold in Germany and 3 went to the US. One of those has a gray interior and two have a black interior. I can't tell for sure if your interior is black or gray from the pics, but it is either a 1-of-1 or a 1-of-two in the US. Rare indeed!

Thank you very much for that info and you are correct on the datapoints. It has black interior and VIN is WDBSK74FX6F112674. Pure joy to drive.

Beautiful car! Mine is just 'Boring Black' but thankfully, it doesn't drive any slower as a result of its color.
