Renntech develops much of their stuff. They might not build it all, but they develop it. Their tuning, yes, obviously they didnt do it. Thats because Evotech is the best in the business, so they went with their tuning. Renntech may have done this to save time and money.

I'm confused. Is the OP referring to drive pulleys or a smaller compressor pulley?

The drive Pulley the compressor pulley has a magnetic clutch so no one sells a smaller pulley at least none that I know off.

Has anyone done the pulley swap themselves? I used to love turning wrenches, but I've become a bit spoiled in my old age! Thinking I might want to do a little work myself again since I have all of the tools. Is it terribly difficult?

In the interest if full disclosure, here's a current thread on MB World talking about a quality problem with the ASP pulley.
http://mbworld.org/forums/showpost.p...18&postcount=3

Carrot, the pulley swap is on the MB books for 3 hours of labor. I had it done at HPP in Lewisville by an MB tech and it didn't take more than 1.5 hours. Of course, he's been trained, so ymmv.

I may just take it there then. Who am I kidding! lol I don't want to mess with putting that thing on! I just didn't want to take it to Park Place or something and throw up a warranty red flag. Thanks for the info!
