I've hear ~$60k, but I think that seems high.

60-62 is pretty good, There is a Performance package 030 option which gets larger rims 19" an LSD, de restricted to around 170mph, thicker steering wheel and nurburgring uprated springs.

mbSLRwannabe welcome to the board, good to see you here.

hey, i've noticed you on here for awhile... finally got registered

the new m3 recorded 4.4 seconds from 0-60mph and around 12.8-9 seconds for the 1/4mile. i'm anxious to see if the c63 will match/outrun those numbers

The C63 is way capable to get less, you know how underrated the AMG MB figures are your SLK55 got 4.3 seconds with the Gtech. The E63 does it in 4.2 and I am sure the lighter smaller C AMG could get to 4.1seconds if its oem figure is 4.5 seconds to 62mph.

i'm sure it will be much quicker than the official time MB has put up (4.5 seconds). i'm not sure if MB wants it's c-class AMG to be faster than it's upper class AMG's (the E63/CLS63). the CLS63 does 0-60 in 4.1 seconds which matches the M6's 0-60 time, but loses in higher speeds. we'll see how things turn out.

M6's gearing does the trick.

Think Im going to pull the trigger on this one and put down a deposit.

Unfortunately in the UK we've been gven an approx RRP of £52k ($104K!) but looking at the specs first drive write ups I think it will be worth the extra over say an M3 or RS4.

Ive had enough of "uber diesels" and want a decent V8 again for a daily drive even if I do get clobbered in gas guzzler taxes .
