It looks to me like the Backspace key is missing and NOT the Delete key. Good luck!

I am pretty sure you can't just buy individual keys. You would either need to replace the whole keyboard (which can be done, but at a cost) or deal with it. The key still works, but instead of pushing down on a plastic key, you hit the metal surface directly. I am missing the 'q' button on my Dell E1405, but as you can see, it still works. So...in my opinion I would not let this be the determining factor on whether you make this purchase or not. You could probably make your own key with some super glue, small spring, and some plastic if you really wanted to.

You can buy a full keyboard on ebay for $10, it takes about 10 minutes to swap out a keyboard on a Dell laptop, I've swapped several.

mixed it up with the backspace on my mac which says delete lol
