Looking for specific Rolex Daytona
Stumbled upon this one on some site that spammed my e-mail, but I can't find it on any authorized dealer sites. Anyone know what it's called and where to get one from?
Its called either 1) fake or 2) someone took a SS and put it on a strap which is almost impossible as the lugs to the bracelet are different then when you have a band. The White Gold Daytona which normally comes on a lether band and recently on a bracelet has Arabic Numeral (i.e. 1,2,3) on the dial..see pic below...PM Stryke for a price they are maybe around 14-15k these days retail around $18-$18.5

Since Styke is the only one allowed to sell new Rolex watches on 6-speed (he is the 6-speed watch sponsor) I am unable to help you. But, just for informational sake, the model# is 116519. I have attached a picture of one I owned a little while back.

Oh, and nice watch.
Thanks for the info Michael. I've been scouring the web in search of a legit blue-faced Daytona, but such a beast doesn't seem to exist. Why someone would make a replica of a non-existant model, I have no idea..

I like that dark blue dial mucho. It is close to the color of my tt. If Rolex made a Daytona with a dial in that color, I would own it. BTW, I didn't like the meteorite dial when I saw a picture of it, but when you see it in person it is truly amazing (except for the numerals).

As Michael said, that first one is an obvious fake. The Subdials do not sit in the correct position on the dial. I first thought it was a black dial which exists in the WG model on a strap but no blue dial, sorry. Email me if you need anything.

Mike, sodalite dial is a material, I am refering to the dial shown on the fake which resembles the blue dial of the Airking or DJ. It's like calling the meteorite dial a silver dial. They are specialty dials and not just a laquer colored dial like he was looking for.
